The agreement between you and Plainspoken Path when you use PaperTrade Coach. Effective September 1, 2026.
By creating an account or using PaperTrade Coach, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, both part of this agreement.
PaperTrade Coach is a simulated trading platform for education. You trade with virtual funds against real, delayed-or-live market prices, and receive feedback — part rules-based, part AI-generated — after closing a simulated trade. No real securities, currencies, or assets are bought, sold, or held through the simulation. See the Disclaimer for full detail on what this does and doesn't mean.
You must be at least 18 years old to use this service, and you agree to provide accurate account information.
You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. One account per person.
PaperTrade Coach offers Free, Paid, and Premium tiers. Paid tiers are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; you'll retain access through the end of the paid period.
If we raise prices, existing subscribers keep their current price unless they actively change tiers, in which case the then-current price for the new tier applies.
Refunds. We don't guarantee refunds automatically, but we want to make things right. If you're not satisfied, contact us at hello@plainspokenpath.com and tell us why — we review every request individually and, where reasonable, will issue a refund to resolve the problem.
You agree not to: attempt unauthorized access to the app or its data; scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated tools against the service; resell or redistribute access to the service; or impersonate another person.
Plainspoken Path owns the platform, its content, and its branding. You retain ownership of the data you create in your own account, and you grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the service (for example, generating your coaching feedback).
The service is provided "as is." See the full Disclaimer, which is part of these Terms — it covers the specifics of what PaperTrade Coach is not (financial advice, an investment advisor, a guarantee of results).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plainspoken Path is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If a dispute comes up, please contact us first at hello@plainspokenpath.com and give us a chance to resolve it directly before pursuing any formal claim. Most issues can be worked out this way.
We may update these Terms as the service evolves, with the new version effective once posted.
